I didn't get into this race because I thought Columbia needed another politician.
I got into this race because I know what it feels like to work hard, pay the bills, raise a family, and wonder why it keeps getting harder to get ahead.
I see families across our communities doing everything they're supposed to do and still feeling like they're falling further behind. I believe the decisions made in Columbia should reflect the realties people are facing here at home, and that starts with asking better questions, demanding accountability, and remembering who government is supposed to serve.
As an accountant, I'm always going to follow the money. I'm going to ask where our tax dollars are going, who is benefiting, whether the spending is sustainable, and whether the people paying the bills are actually seeing the results.

IT'S YOUR MONEY
But this campaign has never been just about taxes and government spending.
It's about the people behind the numbers.
It's about the mom who wants to go back to work but can't find affordable childcare.
It's about our children having strong public schools, supported teachers, and opportunities that prepare them for a future right here at home.
It's about rural healthcare and making sure families aren't forced to travel farther and father just to see a doctor or recieve the care they need.
It's about bringing good-paying jobs to our communities and building an economy that isn't dependent on one industry or the next big promise.
I want smart economic development that supports small businesses, farmers, skilled trades, manufacturers, and entrepreneurs, and creates opportunities that last.
And yes, it's about affordability.
Families across House District 11 are working hard. The problem isn't that people aren't trying hard enough. The problem is that groceries, utilities, insurance, housing, childcare, and healthcare keep taking a bigger bite out of the paycheck.
After hearing about how well South Carolina is doing, I believe working families deserve to ask some simple questions.
Are we doing better?
Can we afford to live here?
Can we find childcare?
Can we get healthcare close to home?
Are our schools giving every child a real opportunity?
Are there good jobs waiting for our children when they grow up?
ARE WE GETTING OUR MONEY'S WORTH FROM COLUMBIA?
Those are the issues I'm running on
This campaign is about is about putting the focus back where it belongs-on the working people, families, children, small businesses, and rural communities that make House District 11 home.
I believe government should be accountable to the people it serves. That means asking hard questions, following the money, listening to the people affected by our decisions, and expecting results.
It means building an economy where our children don't have to leave home to find opportunity. It means supporting strong public schools, making childcare more accessible, protecting access to healthcare in rural communities, and making life more affordable for families who are already working hard.
I'm not running because I believe government can solve every problem. I'm running because I believe government should be responsible with what we give it and focused on things that matter in people's everyday lives.
House District 11 deserve to be heard when decisions are made in Columbia.
And if South Carolinians are expected to work hard for our state, I believe our state government should work just as hard for us.
